A very important part
of the folk tradition in the past, that was more taken up ba women
than by men, was the crafting of emproidery for both domestic and
more public needs. The members in this section are busy with the
preparation of individual parts of men's and women's costumes. With
this activity they are able to considerably contribute to more
convincing stage performances for the folklore group. Amongst their
work, the preparation of women's head wear that was worn by peasant
women in Gorenjska in the first half of the 19. century, has a very
prominent role. Special embroidery or other handicrafted details are
also commonly found as decoration on other pieces of clothing. The
