Just like at
festivities today, both young and old used to attend the dances.
Those kind of festivities, that joined people of different age
groups, are interesting also from a professional point of view, as
they make relationships, attitudes, etc. between generations more
apparent.
Our choreography
presents the differences between the old and the young of the
peasant population, that change into a conflict on stage, which is
of course not to be taken seriously, but more as a kind of joke; it
encourages competition, arguing, mischief,… |
